Police confirmed reports that one fatality was caused by a Texas Car Accident that transpired in Parmer Country, near Lubbock. The accident happened Saturday morning.
According to reports, a 14 year old boy was killed, while 5 other were hurt, when the driver of the SUV they were riding on fell asleep. This caused the vehicle to drive into the median, and eventually got out of control. The lone fatality was ejected out of the SUV, which eventually caused his death. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver and 4 other passengers were immediately brought to the hospital. They are reported to be in stable condition.
