Austin – reports confirm that two victims have been hurt in light of two separate bicycle accidents that transpired over the weekend in the city.
The first Austin Bicycle Accident reportedly happened on Saturday, 4:20 pm, within the vicinity of Fourth Street and Ninth Avenue. According to reports, the 13 year old victim was riding his bicycle when a vehicle which was initially stationary at a stop sign, suddenly moved – hitting the boy in the process. Fortunately, the victim only suffered minor injuries.
The second Austin Bicycle Accident happened on Sunday, at around 1:30 pm, near 12th Street Southwest. Reports showed that the victim was an 83 year old woman who was riding her bicycle when she was hit by the side mirror of a passing car – thereby causing her to fall to the sidewalk and into the street. The victim was brought to the Mayo Clinic Health System for probable head injuries.
