Authorities have confirmed that a suspect they were serving a warrant to was killed in connection with a Texas Motorcycle Accident that happened Friday, at around 10 am.
Police said that they went to the house of Darrick Shelton, 39 years old to serve him a warrant due to an aggravated charge filed against him.
However, it came to their knowledge that Shelton was out of his home in his motorcycle. He was later spotted on the Spring Stuebner Road, but when the police tried to call his attention, he instead tried to outrun them in his motorcycle and increased his speed.
Unfortunately, Shelton hit the side of a Dodge truck – which caused him to be thrown out of his bike, where he eventually hit a culvert. He was later on declared dead at the scene.
