A Texas Car Accident that happened in Congressional Drive, Corpus Christi was alleged by the police to be a case of distracted driving, while the owner of the damaged car alleged that it was one of driving under intoxication.
According to reports, a female driver hit a Hummer that was parked, causing it to incur some heavy damages, and again hit another car.
Witnesses say that immediately after the accident, the parents of the girl arrived and got her into their vehicle. They also say that she was not given a field sobriety test by the police – although the officer who investigated the crash said she was not intoxicated.
On the other hand, the owner of the vehicle damaged claimed that the female driver was apologetic for the crash and even admitted that she was drunk, however, the latter denied this when the police arrived.
The owner of the vehicle is planning to file the necessary charges in connection with the said accident.
