Houston – authorities confirm that a person was struck by a train in North Houston, which resulted to the latter’s death.
According to reports, the accident happened at around 5 am, near the Eastex Freeway. According to the railroad conductor (not the conductor during the time of the accident), he saw the mangled body of the victim in the tracks, which is why he called police.
The conductor also implied that the track where the victim was found is a slow moving one, which means that it would not have been possible for the train to move at a high rate of speed.
Police are yet to determine as to the cause of the accident, and why the victim was hit by the train.
