Southlake – police confirmed that a person was killed in a Texas Car Accident that occurred at Highway 114, in Southlake, at around 1:30 am.
Reports said that the accident happened when the car wherein the victim was riding in, started driving the wrong way in the said North Texas highway.
According to the police, they already got 911 calls about the incident, and they responded as immediately as they could. They said that when the officers got in the highway, they tried to flag the car, but instead of slowing down, the driver sped up.
Eventually, the car hit a concrete barrier, at an approximate speed of 100mph – which caused the passenger to be ejected from his seat. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was brought to the hospital for some needed medical attention.
