A San Antonio Car Accident Suspect was charged with the murder of two persons, allegedly for driving while intoxicated – resulting to the deaths of the two victims.
According to reports, Christopher Lamar, 26 years old, was driving under the influence when he hit a Jeep Cherokee into a Toyota Corolla. The two fatalities, Jessica Rodriguez, 28 years old and Kaylee Flores, 9 years old – were passengers of the Corolla.
Authorities clarified that the Toyota was stationary on the road because its tires were still being changed. However, when the suspect’s Cherokee hit the Corolla, Rodriguez and Flores were still inside. Moreover, reports have shown that Lamar was driving at a speed of 80 mph when he hit the car.
Rodriguez was declared dead at the scene, while Flores was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, she was eventually pronounced dead due to the injuries she sustained.
According to Texas law, committing DWI after being convicted of two other previous DWI cases is a felony. Lamar has been convicted twice of DWI – 1 in 2006 at Guadalupe County, and in 2010 at Bryan County.
